Salo, Finland – Softwork is the latest distributor of Nordic ID products. Softwork wanted to partner with Nordic ID to top up their RFID supply. Nordic ID is also very interested to work with Softwork because the company is an experienced and trusted partner in the area. Nordic ID wants to increase its presence in the Mediterranean area and find good partners there with whom they can work and form good customer relationships.
Softwork has announced that they will concentrate on the two mobile devices in its range of products: Nordic ID Morphic and Nordic ID Merlin. The first was chosen for it is an "all in one" –tool with the amount of data collection and telephone functions and it is also equipped with remote management system, which allows updates to field units in a centralized manner. The seamless integration between HW and SW level client interface and preserves possible changes in the future, regardless of the application, with data transmission via Bluetooth, WLAN and GPRS / GSM. It has intuitive user interface, size and weight (only 190 grams) is small, it is ergonomic, and Windows CE 6.0 operating system, fully customizable, the list of positive features keeps going on and on. The second terminal, new model created by the Nordic ID, called the Nordic ID Merlin combines the best-in-industry features with its high power and fast processor for improved performance (distance reading more than 3 m) and high quality components such as an extremely bright display. 1D/2D barcode versions of the Nordic ID Merlin are designed to meet specific organizational needs. It is ideal for applications in commerce and industry. The Nordic ID Merlin is characterized by flexibility, not only in options identification (barcode, RFID), but also in data communication (Bluetooth, WLAN, GPRS). All these features made Nordic ID a natural choice as a partner for Softwork.
